The CSI ColorWorld is a platform where members can share information about color related topics and network with likeminded people.  The topics of blogs should cover the areas color, color communication, color trends or trends in general, art, color inspiration or technical information about color and dyeing and events and showcases that are related to these topics.

Content should be researched well and facts should be represented correctly.

Content should be unique and not published on another blog in original. You can link back to the blog from another blog or use parts of the blog and link back to it.

Guest bloggers are personally responsible for the content they publish on the blog. Be mindful that what you publish will be public for a long time; protect your privacy and take care to understand the site’s terms of service.

Content we don’t accept on guest blogs:

  • Promotional articles for your product / service or for products and services of other companies
  • Containing affiliate links / Sponsored links/keyword links / Sponsored articles
  • Containing links for unrelated sites /deeplinks
  • Links solely for purpose of anchor text for keyword SEO
  • Linking out to banned sites / adult sites / redirects
  • Poor images

 

Respect your audience and co-bloggers

Be aware that the blog has a global audience that reflects a diverse set of customs, values and points of view. Don’t be afraid to be yourself, but do so respectfully. This includes not only the obvious (no ethnic slurs, personal insults, obscenity, etc.) but also proper consideration of privacy and of topics that may be considered objectionable or inflammatory, such as politics and region. Don’t use inappropriate or abusive language.

 

Social media

You are free to promote your article on social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Stumbleupon, LinkedIn etc.

 

Copyright / fair use laws

It is critical that you show proper respect to fair use laws governing copyright and fair use of copyrighted material owned by others. You should never quote more than short excerpts of someone else’s work. If content or pictures of another person is used, you should link to others work.
