Timeless Hand Drawn Custom Furniture | Art

One of the inspirations behind the CSI color palette “Everyday Art” is the work of a young Bulgarian artist and designer, which also happens to be my brother – Plamen Kirchev.

Being a graduate of the National Academy of Arts in Sofia he is using his creativity and talent in different areas of art and design. Besides working as a stage designer in the movie industry and making various sculpture projects, his biggest passion is the custom-made hand drawn furniture. Using beautiful color combinations and intricate prints, playing with texture and finish, he creates one-of-a-kind unique pieces.

In his work, you can find the influence of traditional Bulgarian motifs, Japanese art, Celtic designs and floral prints. As a designer, he loves to work with different materials but wood, metal, and ceramics are some of his favorite. He incorporates them beautifully to create furniture that offers timeless artisanal craftsmanship.
