Colonial Williamsburg was founded in 1632 by English colonists. It is part of the Historic Triangle, which also includes Jamestown and Yorktown. For those who love history and travel, a trip to this part of Virginia can be really interesting. The town is restored and depicts the history and the culture of Colonial America. The houses and the museums in Historic Williamsburg offer beautiful collections of furniture, fine ceramics and glass, drawings, elegant 18th century clothing and textiles as well as state-of-the-art metal works. The town is set so it can offer the tourists a true view of how the colonial Americans lived centuries ago.

I am a learner and history inspires me. When I travel I try to research  facts about the place that I’m going, so my experience becomes more complete. And sharing it with you makes it even more exciting.
